Chetan Bhagat's forthcoming novel Half Girlfriend has created the expected buzz on social media.

The title of the book, no doubt, is catchy. But what on earth is a Half Girlfriend?

The teaser Bhagat released reads...

Once upon a time there was a Bihari boy called Madhav.
He fell in love with a girl called Riya.
Madhav didn't speak English well. Riya did.
Madhav wanted a relaionship. Riya didn't.
Riya wanted just friendship. Madhav didn't.
Riya sugegsted a compromise.
She agreed to be his half-girlfriend.
