The big day is around the corner and Simki Dutta asked these celebrities just what they were planning on doing on February 14.
Valentine's Day is here and even though you cannot reserve just one day for love, everyone likes to do something special for their partner on this day.
We spoke to a few celebs and got them to tell us what their plans are for Valentine's Day. We also asked them what their most memorable V-day was like.
Here's what they had to say:
Gul Panag
I will be part of the One Billion Rising for Justice Campaign, this Valentine's Day.
I would rather be part of a global revolution that is doing its bit to check violence against women than celebrate something that is inflicted and thrust on us, as a result of clever marketers.
I don't need a day to celebrate love.
I celebrate it everyday.
I'm getting an off this Valentine's Day after a long time because I've been so tied up with Yaariyan since 2011.
I don't have many plans as such.
I will be flying to Bangalore to spend time with friends and family.
My memorable V-Day
When I was 14, a boy in my class asked me to be his Valentine and I turned him down.
He decorated his terrace with heart shaped balloons and made me a cake.
It was even more special because we were so young and one doesn't expect a 14-year-old to do all this.
It was a very silly and cute moment!
Mansi and I believe in celebrating love every day which is why Valentine's Day is nothing extraordinarily special for us.
We usually do quiet candlelight dinners.
My memorable V-Day
There was this one time after Kiara's birth when Mansi decorated the house with candles and surprised me.
We had champagne and dinner. It was lovely!
I have no plans but you can ask Jay (Bhanushali) if he plans to give me a surprise!
My memorable V-Day
I particularly remember this one Valentine's Day when we were in school.
My bag was filled with cards and flowers. I had received around 200 cards and I ultimately had to leave my books in school because my bag was way too full!
That memory will always stay with me.
For Apurva (Agnihotri) and me, every day is Valentine's Day.
We go out at least thrice a week.
Every Valentine's Day we gift each other something.
It'll be the same this time.
My memorable V-Day
The most memorable Valentine's Day was the year we got married.
He got me a huge bouquet and teddy bear.
Along with that, he got me little gifts I've always wanted.
No one had ever done that for me before.
I haven't planned anything yet as I've been busy with my film Children of War which releases in February but I will do something special for my wife (Barkha Bisht).
My memorable V-Day
There are two memorable Valentine's Day celebrations.
One was in 2008, just before we got married.
It was very special for both of us as it was our last Valentine's Day before marriage.
The second one was in 2012, I surprised my wife. It was also the year when our daughter came into our lives.
So I was celebrating love for both my wife and daughter.
I have no plans this time. My husband (Ravi Dubey) and I won't be together on Valentine's Day as I will be busy shooting and my husband will be travelling for some event.
My memorable V-Day
My first Valentine's Day with my husband was the most memorable one. He decorated his terrace with candles and he got champagne and threw me a surprise.
We will go for a drive and have dinner at a nice restaurant, which is what Debina (Bonnerjee) and I do every Valentine's Day.
My memorable V-Day
Six years ago, I surprised Debina at midnight with a lot of dhol-baja.
It was crazy but we had a lot of fun and she loved it!
I'll be playing at a concert with my band this Valentine's Day.
The best way to share love is with live music.
We will perform rock ballads, gospel qawallis, songs of unconditional love and songs of fearless love.
Every day has been a Valentine's Day ever since I met Ram (Sampath).
That is the simple happy truth!
I will leave it to my husband (Rajiv Roda) and if nothing happens by evening, I will plan a surprise for him!
My memorable V-Day
My memorable Valentine's Days have been when I was single when I used to get anonymous gifts and cards.
I still remember those times.
I have no plans this year because I am not dating anyone!
My memorable V-Day
This may sound funny but I ended up asking a girl out three days before Valentine's Day once, not realising it was going to be Valentine's Day!
Then I forgot because I was really tired after a round of swimming.
She fired the daylights out of me, of course.
So I guess that was something I wouldn't forget.
I'm not much of a romantic, but if I meet anyone in Mumbai this time I may ask her out.
