We invited you to send in unique summer-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here are a few more responses!
First up we have this image from Rangnath S, who says, "We had a summer vacation in Ooty and this pic was taken at one of the tea estates. Look closely at the tea baskets -- I realised only after taking the print!"
Share your interesting summer snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.
Simply e-mail your photographs to travelpicsga@rediffmail.com (subject line: 'Unusual summer pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little-write up of where you clicked the snap.
Remember, the theme is summer, so your photograph has to gel with the season. Hurry and send in your entry today!

Next we have this one from Dr Prakash Lalpotu, who says, "The summer heat has begun everywhere. It's not just us human beings who need water -- animals need it too. These monkeys were naturally very happy to find this open water tank at Basmathnagar, in Maharashtra."
Darshan Naik of Mumbai contributed this next one of a woman walking on a sunny afternoon along Palolim Beach in Goa. Certainly looks like the heat was too much to bear!
"A dip in a cool blue pool of water is a delightful experience to everyone, especially children," says Biju Mohan. "Seen here is my son Rohan, enjoying himself. It almost looks like the water is clinging to him!"
And finally, we have this one of a pine forest in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu, from N Venkatraman of Bangalore.
