We invited you to send in unique summer-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here are a few more responses!
First up we have this image from Sumit Wadhwa who says, "This was shot poolside at Chowki Dhani in Jaipur. We were relaxing and observed these birdies drinking the pool water."
Share your interesting summer snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.
Simply e-mail your photographs to travelpicsga@rediffmail.com (subject line: 'Unusual summer pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little-write up of where you clicked the snap.
Remember, the theme is summer, so your photograph has to gel with the season. Hurry and send in your entry today!

Next we have this one from Partha Banerjee who explains, "This was taken in Alibaug, Maharashtra. The heat was too much, but the sun was setting so we thought of catching it in our hands! Enjoyed the evening by the sea."
Piyush Kumar contributed this next one, which was taken in Yercaud, Tamil Nadu. It's a hill station around 200 kms from Bangalore.
"I took this picture during my flight back to Saudi Arabia from Delhi, 30,000 feet above the ground," says Syed Mohammad Anas of Riyandh. "The huge mountain ranges lie like sand dunes; it's so nice to see the world so calm from the sky, but as you reach the surface you find human nature is destroying it. Wishing for world peace..."
And finally, we have this photograph from Alok Sharma of twilight in Goa.
