We invited you to send in unique summer-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here are a few more responses!
First up we have this image from Krishnan Chandramohan who says, "I clicked this picture when travelling from Bangalore to Pune on May 24. On hearing an announcement of turbulence, I just looked out of the window and the view was so beautiful, with the white clouds and bright sun."
Share your interesting summer snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.
Simply e-mail your photographs to travelpicsga@rediffmail.com (subject line: 'Unusual summer pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little-write up of where you clicked the snap.
Remember, the theme is summer, so your photograph has to gel with the season. Hurry and send in your entry today!

Next we have this one from Anand Kumar who explains, "This paragliding picture was taken in Goa at Baga Beach, when my wife and I took a week's vacation in April. It was a great moment to capture the silhouttes of people paragliding against the fading sunset. It was a cool, breezy evening with lots of paragliding activities going on at the beach and needless to say, it was a picture perfect moment.
Manish Bajoria contributed this photograph of sea lions entertaining an audience at a marine mammal park, presumably in the US.
"This is a self-picture taken while on my bicycle ride to Ubeshwarji last month," says Rohit Gautam. "Famous for its temples, mountains and lakes, the road to Ubeshwarji from Udaipur is a dream route for mountain biking."
And finally, we have this snapshot from Rathijeet K Bala who says, "This pic was taken while travelling from Jabalpur to Rewa by train. It seems that the clouds are playing with the burning sun on a Sunday evening."
