We invited you to send in unique summer-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here are a few more responses!
First up we have this pretty image from Vishpala Kadam, who says she captured the "fabulous moment when the sun was setting in the Arabian Sea, which looked super-special when watched through a shell found on the beach. Was a shell trying to confine the mighty sun in its small self, or was the mighty sun trying to make itself cozy inside the shell?"
Share your interesting summer snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.
Simply e-mail your photographs to travelpicsga@rediffmail.com (subject line: 'Unusual summer pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little-write up of where you clicked the snap.
Remember, the theme is summer, so your photograph has to gel with the season. Hurry and send in your entry today!

Next we have this one from Nayaz Ahmed of Bangalore, which he explains was taken on his way to Chamarajnagar, Karnataka, between Nangangud and Chamarajnagar. Wonder what kind of spiders live in these branches!
Amit Kumar sent in this photograph, explaining, "This was shot in the middle of the day in summer, when kids were trying to have fun near a pond." No wonder they seem hesitant to swim -- just look at the state of the water!
With snow all around, Abhinav Bakshi and his friends decided to go topless for a pic at the Everest Base Camp!
And finally, we have this snap from Ketan Bende, taken at Ambazari Lake in Nagpur.
