First up we have this image from Sagar C Pawar, of the Loch Ness freshwater loch in the Scottish Highlands.
Share your interesting summer snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.
Simply e-mail your photographs to travelpicsga@rediffmail.com (subject line: 'Unusual summer pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little-write up of where you clicked the snap.
Remember, the theme is summer, so your photograph has to gel with the season. Hurry and send in your entry today!

Next we have this pic from K Girinath of Bangalore, who says, "On Langkawi Island, this monkey chased my friend who was holding soft drinks and got one of them to cool her thirst."
Kamlendra Kumar sent in this photograph, which he says was shot in Pune. Although there was no accompanying explanation, it looks like foliage against the backdrop of the moon.
"This snap was taken from the terrace of my native home in Pahon Village, Uttar Pradesh," says Pravin Singh. "This mid-noon tornado had stormy winds travelling at 100 kmph."
And finally, we have this photo from Abhijith Bhat N, who says, "If you ever think it's a dog's life, think again. This dog was on a beautiful beach, relaxing at sunset."
