The mercury's rising and we hope your creativity is too -- share your unique, original photographs of the season with us!
We invited you to send in unique summer-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here is the next set of responses!
First up we have this amusing image from Rohit Nayak who says, "I took this pic with my iPhone on the way to Shirdi...playing carrom with the sun at sunset."
Simply e-mail your photographs to travelpicsga@rediffmail.com (subject line: 'Unusual summer pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones right here on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little-write up of where you clicked the snap.
Remember, the theme is summer, so your photograph has to gel with the season. Hurry and send in your entry today!
Next we have this photograph from Ananya Mani, of water droplets shimmering on a shoe flower.
Goutam Dand e-mailed in this snapshot of a beautiful sunrise, taken when he was travelling to Ahmedabad from Ankleshwar in Gujarat.
"This is the view of a paddy field in the Barpali District of Bargarh, Odisha," explains Deepak Goyal. "Even though it's summer, it's still green because of irrigation from the Hirakud Dam."
And finally, we have this refreshing pic of rabdi-lassi from Deepak Goyal, which he says was taken near Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi.
