We invited you to send in unique summer-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here are a few more responses!
First up we have this interesting image from N Venkatraman of Goa, who says, "This is a sunset on Vagator Beach in Goa. A fisherman's boat is also seen in the frame." Sun it may be, but it looks more like Mars (the red planet) here, wouldn't you say?
Share your interesting summer snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.
Simply e-mail your photographs to travelpicsga@rediffmail.com (subject line: 'Unusual summer pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little-write up of where you clicked the snap.
Remember, the theme is summer, so your photograph has to gel with the season. Hurry and send in your entry today!

Next we have this sweet pic from Sharmila, who explains, "This is my son playing in water on the balcony of our house in order to escape the summer heat."
Sudhanshu Dube contributed this snap, saying, "An old couple help keep travellers' thirst at bay on the picturesque Pune-Bangalore highway. They are sugarcane juicewallahs."
"This photo was taken at Ambazari Lake in Nagpur. I was just taking a walk in the evening and I captured a slice of life there," says Ketan Bende.
And finally, we have this photograph from Rohan Potdar who explains that it is of the deep waters off Ganpatipule Beach -- look how the sea and sky merge into each other!
