Next we have this one from Abiran Mookherjee of Singapore, who explains, "I was in Delhi this March and on a visit to the Red Fort, I saw these pigeons resting on the back lawn." Look closer and you will see that they are actually perched on a spotlight used to illuminate the monument at night.
Dr Biswajit Dey contributed this next photograph, stating, "I am an eye specialist by profession. This is a photo taken at a recent eye camp in Thiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. An elderly patient took out a pocket water pouch to relieve himself from the scorching sun, after waiting for long hours in a queue to get his eyes checked."
"Here is a fine pic captured during my trip to the Andaman Islands," says Raveen Kumar R. "The water is crystal clear and the timing is perfect -- you can see the wave slicing through the body."
And finally, we have this pic from Gaurav Aggarwal who says, "I clicked this early morning picture from my terrace at Safdarjung Enclave in New Delhi. You can see the silhouette of a mandir against the light."
