Next we have this one from Arun and Sangeeta of Chennai, who explain, "A monkey in Varanasi was mischieviously looking into the hotel window. The nearby verandah was open so it could enter the room!
Dr D D Kulkarni of Bhopal contributed this next snapshot, of clouds casting a shadow on rocky mountains during Afghanisthan's summer.
"This picture was taken at Ooty's botanical gardens during the summer flower show," says Anand Kumar.
And finally, Sukirti Madhav of Kolkata contributed this photograph, stating, "The picture is from Bhimbhetka in Madhya Pradesh. It was a very hot day when we visited. I saw the shadow of the trees looking very good against the reddish colour of the earth, so I clicked and then ran because the sun was scorching the ground!"
