We invited you to send in unique summer-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here are a few more responses!
First up we have this image from Dhiraj Dharmarajan of Melbourne, Australia who says, "This was taken on my honeymoon to the Maldives earlier this year -- this is the view from the sea plane when you're approaching the island resort of Kuramathi, a 20 minute flight from Male Airport. The plane lands in the ocean and you get picked up from there by the boat...it's an amazing experience. I'd recommend this island paradise to any couple looking for a nice romantic getaway."
Share your interesting summer snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.
Simply e-mail your photographs to travelpicsga@rediffmail.com (subject line: 'Unusual summer pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little-write up of where you clicked the snap.
Remember, the theme is summer, so your photograph has to gel with the season. Hurry and send in your entry today!

Next we have this one from Aswath Khan who explains, "My daughter was trying to kiss this flower in our garden."
Goutam Dand e-mailed in this lovely photograph -- it was clicked at sunset from the terrace of his home in Ankleshwar, Gujarat.
"I captured this shot at Jantar Mantar in Delhi," says Mihir Patki. "This man was trying to catch a few winks on a hot summer afternoon -- let's just hope he wasn't mowed down by the lawn mower!"
And finally, we have this from Abhijit Jadhav of Maharashtra, who is presently in Seoul, South Korea. It is a sunset from the Han River, one he describes as a "very peaceful and wonderful moment".
