Unusual summer pics: Catch me if you can!
We invited you to send in unique summer-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here are a few more responses!
First up we have this image from Bhaskar Deb, who says, "I was at the Grand Canyon in Neveda, USA this summer and was almost falling off the edge!" Maybe not, but it certainly looks that way!

A vibrant celebration of summer
Alok Band sent in this snapshot, explaining, "I took it at the Keukenhof Gardens in Holland earlier this month. The tulips are in full bloom, suggesting the advent of summer. The garden opens for only two months in spring every year. The flowers then start shedding their petals as the mercury levels go up."
The silvery sea
"This was captured in Kerala at 7 am in the morning. It offers a view of the beach and the fishermen out at sea," says Ajay Kumar of his black and white photograph.
In need of a nap
And finally, Himanshu Bhatnagar of Bhopal contributed this pic of a cat dozing in a bid to beat the heat.
