Simply e-mail your photographs to travelpicsga@rediffmail.com (subject line: 'Unusual monsoon pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little write-up of where you clicked the snap.

Next we have this one from Kamlendra Kumar, clicked at Bhushi Dam, Lonavala.
Ratna Ghosh sent in this photograph, which shows "raindrops sparkling on green grass like diamonds."
"This pic has been taken on the way to Sivanasamudram near Mysore," explains Abhishek Sharma. "This man is carrying a boat that is in the shape of a tokri to the waterfall, using it to protect himelf from the rain."
And finally, Pramod P Nair contributed this snapshot, taken in Kodaikanal soon after the morning rain.
