We invited readers to send in their interesting monsoon snapshots. Here is the next set of responses -- and you can share yours too!
We invited you to send in unique monsoon-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here is the first set of responses!
We received this image from Amrita Shah who says, "This picture was clicked at Picnic Cottage on the beach in Mumbai. The old couple, though enjoying the monsoon drizzle, wanted to move away from the waves and the young girl enjoyed a horse ride in the water. A different take on the same season triggers the ageless debate of perception between the youth and old."
Share your interesting monsoon snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.
Simply e-mail your photographs to travelpicsga@rediffmail.com (subject line: 'Unusual monsoon pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little write-up of where you clicked the snap.
Remember, the theme is the monsoons, so your photograph has to gel with the season. Hurry and send in your entry today!

Next we have this detailed snapshot from Gokul, who explains, "On my recent trip to Australia, I caught this pic with my new DSLR -- clicked amazingly!"
Ritesh K Jha of Gwalior sent in this one of the "monsoons bringing life to a standstill in Kolkata".
"This is a rainy evening on the Bangalore Highway near Pune," states Amol Tavkar. "Tail lamps of vehicles were creating interesting reflections on the wet road surface; they inspired me to take my SLR and quickly capture the moment."
And finally, Baudhayan Lahiri sent in this one, saying, "This pic was clicked at Luzern Lake, in Switzerland. You can see how a pair of swans are making love on the lake."
