We invited readers to send in their interesting monsoon snapshots. Here is the next set of responses -- and you can share yours too!
We invited you to send in unique monsoon-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here is the first set of responses!
We received this image from Ruchi Mishra of Pune who says, "Due to an illness I'd taken a break from my office and was at home fulltime and resting. I have a very beautiful garden just opposite my house. So when the rain started I couldn't stop myself and started capturing beautiful and soothing views in my camera. It was so very calm that I almost forgot my pain and started enjoying the natural beauty -- flowers, greenery and the calming sound of rain. Love rainy days!"
Share your interesting monsoon snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.
Simply e-mail your photographs to travelpicsga@rediffmail.com (subject line: 'Unusual monsoon pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little write-up of where you clicked the snap.

Next we have this photograph sent in by Pranay Ghai who says, "Last monsoon, a usual day back from the office, eagerly waiting for the famous Mumbai monsoons to start, my roommate Neeraj Kashyap and I were just chatting by the balcony when we saw this big cloud approching. It was engulfing the town and gave us some spectacular views."
"Neeraj got his DSLR and started clicking the pics -- this too was taken by him."
"Later that evening, the monsoon arrived and we enjoyed the evening with masala chai and pakoras -- a perfect way to enjoy a nice monsoon evening."
Vishal Singh sent in this one, stating, "This is a rainbow as seen from my office after a refreshing rain."
This interesting snapshot was captured in Baroda, Gujarat , by Dinesh Bhoya.
And finally, we have this one from Shyam Mohan shot at Rajgarh.
