We invited you to send in unique monsoon-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here is the next set of responses!
First up we received this image from Manish Agarwal of Jersey City, New Jersey, who says, "Here is a picture I captured last Saturday on the Hudson Riverfront in Jersey City, just after evening showers. Thought it was worth sharing and goes well with the theme."
Share your interesting monsoon snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.
Simply e-mail your photographs to travelpicsga@rediffmail.com (subject line: 'Unusual monsoon pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little write-up of where you clicked the snap.

Next we have this one from Vandana Modi who explains, "This is the view from my home in Thane (Maharashtra) -- it's like a blanket of clouds over the buildings."
Hersh Magotra e-mailed in this photograph, clicked on his recent trip to Goa.
"This is the Chitrakote Falls in spate, with the rains having washed away the railing and the lights set up for tourists to enjoy the view. A rock was the only vantage point we had to shoot the picture," says Vijay Ganesh R.
And finally, Sowmya Badam of Bangalore sent in this snapshot, stating that it was captured by her husband at RK Beach in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh.
