We invited you to send in unique monsoon-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here is the next set of responses!
First up we received this interesting image from Hanish Hasnal, who says, "This is Calicut Beach. I stay next to the beach, and was heading back home from the office when I realised just how beautiful this evening was, more beautiful than any other day -- it was the monsoon that made it so amazing. Drops of rain started to hit my windscreen and I knew I won't see a better sight, so I took out my cellphone and kept clicking to my satisfaction."
Share your interesting monsoon snapshots with us! They could be from anywhere across India or the world, but they have to be original.
Simply e-mail your photographs to travelpicsga@rediffmail.com (subject line: 'Unusual monsoon pics') -- we'll publish the most interesting ones on rediff.com and in India Abroad. And make sure to include a little write-up of where you clicked the snap.

This beautiful photograph of the Konkan in Maharashtra was sent in by Vijay Kerkar.
And finally, Anirban Mondal sent us this image, of "water dripping down the window pane after a drizzle".
