Jab We Met: In the mood for love

Last updated on: April 11, 2013 09:52 IST

We'd invited you, our readers to share your love stories. Reader Bipul Chatterjee writes about his love story.

I often heard my elders saying "It's not the time to fall in love."

When I was in class 10, I saw her for the very first time. She was cute and charming with an ever-pleasing smile.

A little spark of a strange feeling passed through me making her my crush.

I hardly knew anything about her but I was very much anxious to know at-least her name.

My Class Ten exam got over so it was pretty relaxed. To a wonder, I saw her ID on a Social Networking Site. Without even thinking once I sent her a friend request.

Soon, a time came when we both often used to chat, share our happy thoughts and spend time teasing each other. One fine night I proposed to her online. The answer was a happy 'Yes!'

Misti and I have been in a relationship for about two years and have just appeared for our Class 12 examination. We're looking forward to get into a good college so we can make our life safe, secure and a happy one.

I still remember the very first time I saw her; her smile still makes my heart beat faster.

Jab We Met: In the mood for love

Next up we have this story by Himanshu Shekhar!

This is for the first time I am expressing my feelings in a public domain. I cannot think of life without her.

Yes that's true and I also couldn't believe that such feeling came in my life considering I am very practical person.

It was not love at first sight. Neither did it strike on the very first day when we met.

We happened to come across each other through a matrimonial portal and we started with a telephone conversation.

I was thrilled to realise that a girl like her existed in the same community as me (though I am open as far as community or caste is concerned)! I was excited and developed respect for her. I met up with her. Sadly, the very next day one of my uncles passed away.

My practical vibes came in front and asked her not to wait for me as her parents would be actively looking for a suitable match for her.

We parted and stopped communication for a while but started talking again over the phone. Those days, long-distance calls were pretty expensive and it was hurting my budget because I was paying an EMI for a flat I had purchased. I used to give her a 'missed call' and she would call me back. It used to annoy her a lot and we used to fight over this. Now, it seems very funny.

After couple of years she happened to visit the place and we met.

I liked her more now and we kissed. It was awesome! I still cherish that moment including the colour of the dress she wore.

We started spending more time and my love for her started becoming strong and deep. Now I cannot think of life without her.

My love for her deepened for multiple reasons -- her culinary skills, her ability to carry herself in saris, dress, her love for me... the list goes on and I miss her every breath I take while I am awake.

The only time I don't think of her is when I am sleeping. I am very verbose about my feelings and expressions and try to communicate through all possible mediums that we have in today's world. I love her lots!
