The line consisted of sari and the katori choli which was further elevated by her eccentric creative touches.
The silk saris were draped in quirky fashion and worn with men’s shirts, tees and katori choli-cum-shirt.
There were large shoulder pads for checked shirts and a giant brocade bow on a looped hem top, which was extremely wild.
The head and facial accessories were loud, unconventional and had ornate shapes which eventually made the models look like deities and divas.
The young designer used unconventional materials to create accessories for the head and neck.
Overall, the jaw dropping collection had that futuristic space age feel that was mind-boggling in thought and design.
Sougat Paul featured his collection next.
The line titled Decoding Zellige drew influences from Zellige, a terracotta tile formation found in Moroccan architecture.
Seen here is Candice Pinto in a yellow and black pre-stitched silk saree.
Each of his offerings were contemporary, stylish and feminine.
The creations comprised geometric forms and shapes with intricate motifs that made the women's wear collection look casual and chic.
From trendy strokes to silhouettes, one could see a great deal of detailing in Paul's garments.
The colour palette sung a fashionable tune starting with bright festive shades graduating to subtle pastels and prints with embroidery.
Permanent pleating worked well for the pants and gowns rendering the ensembles a very formal appeal.
Designer Anushka Khanna’s latest collection was inspired by art and beauty.
The theme revolved around well-known photographer Hashim Badami’s images dotted by Khanna’s prints and surface textures.
There was an interesting play of shimmer and shine through the collection with glittering gilets and leggings to choose from.
Khanna played with geometrical designs for embellishments as she translated Badami’s photographs into digital printed garments.
The colour canvas mostly comprised muted navy, grey, black, white and graphic shapes.
However it was a pleasant surprise to see a peach cocktail dress.
Seen in the picture is a model wearing a long pencil skirt with a black chequered blouse.

The avant garde collection should mostly interest women who like detailing in their party wear.
