Garg divided the collection in jewel tones of shocking pink, deep blue, peach, gold, white and parrot green.

Remaining loyal to a limited variety of silhouettes for the regal garments, Garg designed empire line midis, simple maxis, quilted jackets, sherwanis, lean kurtas, waisted frocks, panelled gowns, saris and lehengas.

The stunning patterns were in gold against a silk base with gem-like enamelling.

Using a variety of weights for the yarns, weaves and finishing, Sanjay showcased superbly crafted garments which had a fluid fall.

Sanjay also attempted to present the history of Indian fashion in a modern ambience.
The sari and lehenga developed from the same Antariya, was the predecessor of the Kachcha style sari still worn in Maharashtra and other parts of India.
