LFW Images: A little Morocco, a lot of skinshow!

The final show on Day Four of the Lakme Fashion Week had Pria Kataaria Puri showing off some lovely East European designs.
The Moroccan city of Marrakesh was the source of inspiration for Pria Kataaria Puri's eponymous collection. Feminine and immensely wearable, the line was designed with the idea that women today do not have the time or the desire for a complex and cumbersome wardrobe.
There were two palettes in the line. One was bright oranges, spicy greens and turmeric yellows.
Here Bryndis Helgadottir strikes a pose in an orange bikini.

The other palette was far sober almost vintage consisting of midnight blues, blacks and off-whites like this one.

We quite liked this lounge gown that shows off a hint of model Sucheta Sharma's stunning legs.

Working around her favourite silhouettes that gracefully moved from kaftans, maxis, tunics, dresses, blouses and saris, the desugner added that glamorous touch of glitter with local mirror work and crystals along with large doses of silk tassels and unique Arabesque prints.

The fabrics were rich chiffons, silk, crepe, georgette; satin, velvet, jersey and tulle which gave the seductive touches to the daring breezy beach wear creations.

A bright green cover-up stands in contrast to a single-piece black swimsuit. Pom-pons like this one recurred in many of Pria's line.

The stunning resort wear line also drew from the rich textile heritage history and unique prints.

Silk crepe, which Pria uses very often, also featured in this collection. Seen here a halter asymmetric toga with crystal collar.

The ethnic touch to the collection was added by this black sari with a tiered petticoat and tiny crystal choli.

Yet again two thumbs up for Sucheta Sharma's bright mini kaftan. The resort look continued throughout as a line of the most colourful kaftans in varying lengths floated down the ramp with silver embroidery at the waist, neck or yokes; while tassels were used to decorate the hemline, sleeves, neck and collar.
Figure that!

Pria's latest line had promised to flatter the feminine form and it surely did... right from her flowy gowns to a figure-hugging one shoulder dress like this one!
