Designer Lina Tipnis showcased the newest resortwear offerings from her label Linarika on Day Five of Lakme Fashion Week. Sexy silhouettes, with distinctly Indian overtones and plenty of individualistic detailing took to the runway in the light hues of summer. Here's a glimpse.

Kicking off the show was this ethnic print mini, teamed with a pleated, lightly textured white shirt.

Tile style

Alesia Raut models a pair of Iznik tile print satin harem pants, teamed with a racerback tank top.

Taabla trend

Next up is a jewelled taabla dress in cotton burnout.

Satiny sheen

Low-fork harems set off this off-shoulder fitted top with braided tulip tie-ups at the shoulder.

Mahogany musings

Nicole Faria poses in a mahogany haar dress with minute colourful detailing.

Making a statement

A single projectional ruff highlights this jewel-sleeved cocktail number.

Natty necklaces

The designer gets innovative with necklace-style embellishments stitched onto the front of this pristine tunic.

Lithe 'n' lovely

Woodsy brown comes to the fore again with this delicate bell-sleeved outfit.

Shifty kaftan

Finally we have this beautiful cascading kaftan with a single jewelled shoulder.

All in a row

Tipnis comes out onto the runway with her best creations to soak in the applause.
