University of Cambridge announces the prestigious Dr Manmohan Singh Scholarship 2014

What: St. John’s College, a leading college of the University of Cambridge, today released details of this year’s prestigious Dr Manmohan Singh Scholarships.

How many: 35,000 scholarship set up exclusively for Indian students to read for PhD and MPhil degrees in science, technology, economics and social sciences

Test: The scholarship would be based on merit through a special test, in order to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Selection: A selection committee, comprising an appropriate nominee from each sponsor and a panel of academics and others selected by the college will be set up in India to make recommendations to the college regarding the profile of applicants.

Important date: The last date for applying for Dr Manmohan Singh Scholarships is January 15, 2014.
