Many people in today's cut throat world start experiencing job burnout even before they turn 30.
The American Psychological Association's David Ballard, has listed 10 signs that may reveal if you are experiencing burnout.
Firstly, a clear sign of burnout is that a person feels tired all the time. Exhaustion can be of emotional, mental or physical type, The Huffington Post reported.
Secondly, the motivation to do the work is lacking in the person, and the individual no longer feels enthusiastic about anything anymore.
Thirdly, a person may be frustrated and disillusioned with everything the individual may also be encountering other negative emotions.
Fourthly, burnout and chronic stress may interfere with the individual's ability to pay attention or concentrate.
This tunnel vision can negatively affect the person's ability to solve problems or make decisions.
Fifthly, the job performance of the person is going down.
Sixthly, interpersonal problems at home and at work. Either, a person is having more conflicts with other people, like getting into arguments, or the individual is withdrawing, from talking to their co-workers and family members.
Seventhly, when suffering from burnout, some individual engage in unhealthy coping strategies like drinking and smoking too much.
Eighthly, being preoccupied with work, when not present in the office.
Ninthly, the tendency of the individuals to feel less happy and satisfied with their careers and with their domestic life.
Tenthly, over a long period of time, serious chronic stress can create real health problems such as digestive issues, heart disease, depression and obesity.
