Supermodel Miranda Kerr and actor Orlando Bloom have announced the end of their marriage of three years.
The 36-year-old actor, who began dating Kerr, 30, in 2007 tied the knot with her in 2010. The couple have a son together and had been living separately for few months, reported E! Online.
"In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months," a representative of Bloom said.
After six years together, they have recently decided to formalise their separation.
Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family," the representative added.
The pair's last public appearance was at the opening of Romeo and Juliet on Broadway on September 19.
Prior to her marriage to Bloom, Kerr had been dating Adrian Camilleri a finance broker who was eventually found guilty following an investigation by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
It is believed that Kerr had incurred financial losses after taking his advice too but hadn’t pressed charges. Unsurprisingly that relationship ended.
Miranda Kerr has also dated the lead singer of the band Tamarama, Jay Lyon and starred in one of their videos too before ending their relationship in 2007.
Later that year she began dating Orlando Bloom and the two got married in 2010.
The following year, Miranda Kerr delivered their first child, a son Flynn Christopher Blanchard Copeland Bloom.
Barely two months after becoming a mom, Miranda Kerr returned to the runway to walk at the Paris Fashion Week.
