Hina Rabbani Khar's visit to India has created quite a stir -- and for once it has nothing to do with Indo-Pak relations!

She carries Birkin bags (Hermes), wears movie-star shades and at 34, is Pakistan's youngest-ever and first woman minister of foreign affairs.

So we must admit, it's a little disappointing that Hina Rabbani Khar's Indian counterpart S M Krishna is a distinguished old gentleman of 79, especially when you consider that we have several dynamic young politicians who'd match up to the glamour she's bringing to the table of Indo-Pak dialogue! And to the photo ops that go with it.

In the following pages, we bring you a lighthearted photo feature matching her up to the young male Turks of Indian politics. In other words, please don't be offended as it's all in good spirit!

Which dashing Indian politician would make the ideal counterpart to Hina Rabbani Khar at the table of discussion and give us more memorable pics? Find out in the following pages!

Omar Abdullah

Despite the receding hairline, our Jammu and Kashmir chief minister cuts a handsome figure and would look great alongside Hina.

And hey, our former home secretary, G K Pillai seems to think that they should have met too, even if his reasons were more political!

Jyotiraditya Scindia

Maharaja of the princely state of Gwalior, minister of state for commerce and industry, spiffy dresser -- Jyotiraditya Scindia is the ideal representative of India's young political brigade, what say? And both Hina and he have an affinity for slick sunglasses!

Jairam Ramesh

It's not necessarily about age, though, is it? A powerful and experienced individual like the rural development minister, Mr Jairam Ramesh would fit the bill too -- hopefully, he'd introduce Hina to the comfort of spun cotton as compared to designerwear!

Shashi Tharoor

When it comes to tweeting (and cricket!) Shashi Tharoor does have a penchant for putting his foot in his mouth, but in other respects this charismatic diplomat-turned-politician is the ideal representative of our country. We're sure Pakistan's honourable minister of foreign affairs would be taken with his wit and intelligence!

Rahul Gandhi

Of course, our Gandhi scion can never be far behind when it comes to the dashing politicians department. In addition to his popularity and the fact that he's our PM-in-waiting, Rahul is pretty easy on the eyes too! Wonder if Hina thinks so too?

Varun Gandhi

Hmmm. Wherever Rahul goes his cousin is keen to follow, but politically speaking, we don't know if any representative from Pakistan would want to rub shoulders with young firebrand MP Varun!

Sachin Pilot

Maybe as far as MPs go, the more affable Sachin Pilot would be a better bet -- a gentleman, educated at Wharton and another of our rising stars, we're sure Hina would enjoy meeting him for political reasons.

Milind Deora

If Ms Rabbani Khar is a music-lover, who better than our guitar-strumming MP from Mumbai to welcome her to India! And of course, Milind is a savvy politician too.

Akhilesh Yadav

Lok Sabha member for Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav is following in father Mulayam Singh's footsteps. At 38, he's got just four years on Hina, so there could be an easy rapport between both, we're guessing.

Naveen Jindal

Besides running the Jindal business empire, Naveen Jindal is a very capable, well-educated MP representing the Kurukshetra constituency of Haryana. We're guessing both Hina and he have the high life in common!

Manvendra Singh

And finally, we come to this member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. Manvendra was a journalist before he entered politics and we're sure he'd make a great impression!
