Rosie Huntington-Whiteley gushes about 'empowering' underwear
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has revealed that she believes lingerie to be the ultimate feminine purchase, as she feels empowered in her underwear.
The Victoria's Secret model believes that the near-nude shots are designed for women, not men.
"It wasn't a plan. It's just naturally my look, I guess. I felt empowered doing lingerie shoots," Contactmusic quoted the 25-year-old model as saying.
"Lingerie is the ultimate feminine buy and I love the feeling it gives women, the empowerment. I love that it's for women only and men afterwards," she added.
Kim Kardashian has revealed that she has taken to diet pills and a strict exercise regime in a bid to lose 20 pounds for boyfriend Kanye West.
The reality TV star is apparently desperate to shed the extra weight she has gained since coupling up with the rapper.
"How is it that @KourtneyKardash & I have the same amount of weight to lose but she just had a baby! SMH help! LOL (sic)," Contactmusic quoted the curvy model as tweeting after a workout with sister Kourtney Kardashian.
"Since I started QuickTrim again a few weeks ago, I'm down 6 lbs!!! Yay best feeling. I was getting discouraged but now I'm so motivated!" she added.
The 31-year-old had earlier admitted that her 'comfortable' relationship with the rapper has affected her body shape and left her feeling overweight.
"I'm hoping to slim down a little bit, and I'm not afraid to say it. I think everyone goes up and down in whatever that comfortable love relationship phase is where you like to eat out, but now it's time to get it together again," she had told InStyle Magazine.
According to reports it is her boyfriend Kanye West who's motivated her to shed the extra kilos, as he is keen for the reality star to have a body like his best friend Jay-Z's wife, Beyonce.
"He suggested Kim drop 20 pounds, arguing that Beyonce has a similar shape and she proved you can get that supermodel body using her lemon juice, cayenne pepper and maple syrup diet," a source recently said.
"He says he wants her to be the face of his clothing line...but to do that she has to fit into the clothes. It's really uncomfortable -- her shape is what made her name," the source added.
Cameron Diaz, who recently turned 40, has said that she feels more sexy and confident now than she did at 25.
"For the first time in my life I'm content. Getting older is the best part of life," the Mirror quoted her as telling Esquire Magazine.
"Like, I know more than I've ever known. I have gratitude."
"I know myself better. I feel more capable than ever. And as far as the physicality of it -- I feel better at 40 than I did at 25," she added.
Cheryl Cole, who has topped many lists in regards to her style and mostly her luscious locks, showed off her sultry side in smouldering stills for her latest campaign for L'Oreal's Elnett hairspray.
Proving that she is worth it, the 29-year-old singer looks truly breathtaking as she rests her head against a golden backdrop, the Daily Mail reported.
Turning up the heat in the shots, the Out Of Control hitmaker slipped into a form fitting black dress which embraced her svelte figure.
In the first image, Cheryl stands with her hands behind her head as she gazes into the camera lens.
Channelling the smokey-eyed look, the Newcastle-born beauty wears her brunette hair in soft bouncy waves.
Switching things up whilst demonstrating the full potential of the product, she sports a satin sleek look in the second image.
With her hair perfectly teased into a side parting, she looks away from the camera as she stands with her back against the wall whilst showing off her enviable toned legs.
Cheryl joined the likes of Beyonce, Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez to promote L'Oreal products in 2009, and has made it no secret that she is Elnett's number one fan.
Sofia Vergara has revealed that her 32F size breasts are "such a pain in the ass" that she is planning to go under the knife to look sexy like supermodel Gisele Bundchen.
"I know (my breasts) have opened doors for me, let's be real," the Daily Mail quoted the 40-year-old as telling Lucky Magazine.
"But I so hate when I see Gisele and she is wearing a tiny little tank top with no bra, like, 'Oh, I just threw this on, I look so cute.'"
"If I wore that I would look like I was pregnant, or a fat stripper," she said.
The mother of 20-year-old son Manolo is one of the highest-paid women on TV.
"I am not there to look intelligent. I want to show all this off while I still have it," she said.
"I already know I am going to get a breast lift. Then, maybe one day, when I am done with being sexy, I will just get rid of them," she added.
Christina Hendricks, who showcases her voluptuous physique by her figure-hugging dresses in her role as secretary Joan Holloway in Mad Men, has led to a new trend among women seeking breast implants.
According to consultant plastic surgeon Garrick Georgeu, in the last 18 months conical implants have grown in popularity, with 60 percent of his patients now opting for the shape.
"Up until two years ago all we had was anatomical-shaped implants to offer patients which gave a round, almost cartoonish look," the Daily Mail quoted him as saying.
"Many of my patients are women who have lost volume to their breasts with age, or after having children, and so the conical implant is ideal for them."
"And what the conical implant does is lift up the breast giving them fullness in the upper part giving a natural voluptuous look, similar to Christina Hendricks," he said.
However, another plastic surgeon, Nilesh Sojitra, warned it is essential the right volume of implant is used, or patients can end up with pointy breasts, similar to the cone-shaped bras Madonna once favoured.
Hendricks came to global attention for her role in the American drama Mad Men, set in a New York advertising firm during the 1960s.
Salma Hayek claims it is a "miracle" she has a career despite being "dyslexic, short and chubby".
The 46-year-old actress has been a Hollywood staple for more than fifteen years, since finding fame in the 1995 film Desperado and has appeared in a series of hit movies, most recently Oliver Stone's Savages.
Salma feels lucky to have enjoyed such success in Hollywood, insisting the odds have always been against her.
In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, she attributes her success to luck, and appears to be one of the few stars to acknowledge how difficult it is to carry on working in Hollywood once you get to a certain age.
"The worst thing you can be in Hollywood is a woman and over 40. On top of that, I have an accent, am dyslexic, short and chubby. You name it I have it, but I am here. I must be the luckiest girl in the world to be working," the Daily Mail quoted her as saying in the magazine.
And in an industry saturated with women who refuse to eat, Miss Hayek admits with refreshing honesty that she enjoys her life too much to waste time dieting.
"I am on the limit of chubbiness because I love my food and my wine. It's not the best for fashion, but it's good for my mood. I am happy because I eat. I am 46; I will not have Botox."
"You know why (I don't need to do it)? Because I eat! I eat the fat, I eat the vegetables, I eat everything. If you exercise too much and you don't eat enough, it takes its toll on the skin. Everything starts ageing. If you don't eat carbs, you slow your metabolism down. And you know what? You look miserable."
"The truth is I just don't have the drive to be the prettiest and the thinnest. I can be happy for other people for their beauty. Learn to be happy for others and you can never run out of happiness," she added.
Taylor Swift has revealed that she loves experimenting with her looks and currently favours a ladylike approach.
The 22-year-old singer also said that she is into vintage dressing at the moment.
"I love clothes and I tend to go through very definitive phases of what I like wearing," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
"Right now, it's all vintage dresses, kind of fancy lady outfits."
"I was getting ready the other night I was like, 'Where are my pearls?'" she said.
The Fearless hit-maker also revealed that she loves experimenting with different styles during the shoots.
"I love these shoots, cover shoots, because I really just let them do what they want," she told US TV show Nightline.
"I used to be particular about things. I used to ask, 'Well, what are you going to do with my hair...' Now I walk in and I'm like, 'What you want to do...I don't care'."
Christina Aguilera has hit back at record label bosses for pressuring her to lose weight, saying that she wouldn't be successful if she had a fuller figure.
The 31-year-old singer -- currently a judge on the American reality Talent show The Voice -- was warned that if the she didn't slim down, nobody would buy her music and by 2006, she was at her lightest.
"During the promotion of my album Stripped, I got tired of being a skinny, white girl," the Mirror quoted her, as telling Billboard Magazine.
"I am Ecuadorian, but people felt so safe passing me off as a skinny, blue-eyed white girl. The next time my label saw me, I was heavier, darker and full of piercings! Let me tell you, that wasn't an easy pill for them to swallow."
"I had gained about 15 pounds during promotion and during my Stripped tour. They called this serious emergency meeting about how there was a lot of backlash about my weight," she said.
She said that the bosses told her that she would affect a lot of people if she gained weight -- the production, musical directors.
"(They claimed) people I toured with would also miss out if I gained weight, because I would sell no records or tickets for my shows."
"I was young, so I lost the weight quickly and was toothpick thin during the Back to Basics promos and touring," she said.
She also said that now she won't be getting told what she can and can't eat anymore, and has told the bosses at her current record label, Lotus, to get used to her sexy curves.
"I told them, 'You are working with a fat girl. Know it now and get over it,'" she said.
"They need a reminder sometimes that I don't belong to them. It's my body."
"My body can't put anyone in jeopardy of not making money anymore -- my body is just not on the table that way anymore," she added.
Kristin Cavallari has credited nursing, jogging and healthy eating for almost regaining her pre-baby body after the birth of her baby boy on August 8
"I honestly can say I owe it all to breastfeeding," People Magazine quoted the 25-year-old as saying.
"I read somewhere that it's like running six miles a day. I know nursing is difficult for a lot of moms so it's easier said than done."
"I eat healthy in general and I'm taking it easy in the gym and working out three to four days a week," she said.
Cavallari also claimed that she is not beach ready yet.
"I do want to tone up my stomach a little bit more. Trust me, if you saw me I'm not ready for a bikini, let's just put it that way," she said.
"I'm close, but I haven't (lost all the weight)," she added.
