Holly Madison insures her breasts for whopping $1 million

Holly Madison, the former girlfriend of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, has reportedly insured her breasts for 1 million dollars.

Madison, 31, said that she insured her famous assets with Lloyd's of London to protect them while appearing in her Las Vegas production, 'Peepshow'.

"I've heard about people getting body parts insured and I thought, why not? Because if anything happened to my boobs, I'd be out for a few months and I'd probably be out a million dollars," she told People Magazine.

"I thought I'd cover my assets," she added.

Madison, however, also comprehends the quirkiness of it.

"I think it's kind of funny. I think they're getting the credit they deserve. They're my primary money makers right now," she added.

Eating and workout secrets behind Daisy Lowe's curvy body

British model Daisy Lowe has revealed that she toned up her body by eating more than she used to and by exercising daily.

"Diets don't work for me. If I'm told I can't have something, I just crave it more," the Daily Mail quoted her as telling Grazia.

The 22-year-old model's personal trainer, Nicola Addison, insisted that she was not eating enough and suggested she increase her intake of protein and do some weights.

Lowe's calorie intake, and the number of calories she burnt, was closely monitored and Addison's team created a tailor-made menu, with meals delivered straight to the model's door.

A typical day included an omelette for breakfast, a protein bar snack, a vegetarian salad for lunch, some nuts and berries and salmon for dinner.

"It was difficult. If I hadn't started seeing some benefits after a week, I would have given up," Lowe admitted.

The looker has now shown the benefits of her diet by going topless for Esquire Magazine and in the interview admitted she is jealous of Lara Stone's "perky" breasts and thinks that she has a perfect body.

Lowe talked about the body shape of women in the fashion world, and said she envied Lara Stone her "massive" assets, branding her husband, comedian David Williams, a "lucky man".

"There's definitely been some sort of a shift, because I think women want to buy clothes that suit their bodies and the average women is not a stick," the Daily Mail quoted her as telling Esquire.

The model also revealed that she is proud of her curvy body as compared to the ultra thin models in the fashion world.

Sienna Miller has joined the list of high-profile celebrities who are supporting the campaign to end animal testing on cosmetics.

Apart from Miller, celebrities like Sir Paul McCartney and Kimberly Wyatt are also supporting the No Cruel Cosmetics Initiative undertaken by the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection (BUAV).

The initiative calls for a ban on animal testing for toiletries and cosmetic products sold in the European Union (EU) and as per the plans, it will come into effect in 2013.

"We are delighted to have the support of Sienna Miller. It is totally unacceptable for animals to continue to suffer and die in the name of beauty," Contactmusic quoted Michelle Thew, Chief Executive of the BUAV, as saying.

"Please join Sienna and support our No Cruel Cosmetics campaign to end cosmetics testing on animals. Sign our petition to the European Parliament at www.NoCruelCosmetics.org," Thaw added.

Twilight beauty, Kristen Stewart has created a stir amongst her fans with her latest photo shoot for British GQ Magazine.

Stewart's new look has been the hot topic of discussion among her fans on social networking portals.

'Bite Me! Twilight's Kristen Stewart is ready to draw blood' reads the headline of the GQ cover, where she is seen relaxing on a poolside chair sporting a dark green retro bikini and slicked back hair, Contactmusic reported.

The actress will also be the cover girl of Allure Magazine, where she will be sporting a simple look with a striped top and jeans.

Stella McCartney's 'magic dress' makes you look slimmer sans workouts

The 'miracle dress' created by Stella McCartney has become a massive hit with celebrities as it is said to make them look slimmer without even having worked out in the gym.

Kate Winslet, who awed everyone with her hourglass-like figure on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival, donned a colour-blocked Bicolour Octavia number created by the 40-year-old fashion designer.

"It's like retouching your body with a frock," Fox News quoted June Ambrose, celebrity stylist, as saying.

The 1,595 dollar figure-flattering dress is one of the 'optical illusion' outfits from McCartney's fall collection, which draw the eye to a contoured front panel while its black sides seem to disappear, creating a waistline that is deceptively smaller.

Celebrities like La La Anthony, Gloria Estefan, X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger and Liv Tyler, who wore an electric cobalt-and-black version of the dress earlier this year, have taken advantage of the dress' magic.

"This has become one of the biggest dresses of the year," Sasha Charnin Morrison, fashion director of Us Weekly, said.

"It's a body-conscious dress that is so clever, and it's from a major designer. All of the groovy girls wear Stella. Everyone wants to wear her now," Charnin added.

Rihanna has rocked the latest issue of British Vogue, where she has exposed her bottom half in a revealing photoshoot.

The R&B singer graces the cover page, where she presents an almost sophisticated look with a Monroesque pout and blonde hair.

However, in inside pages of the magazine, her photo spread gets even sexier as she shows off every inch of her legs against some rusty girders and also sports a natty beret, the Daily Mail reported.

Rihanna has always been in the news because of her controversial photographs and videos, including her hit video S&M in which she was tied up and taped to the wall with clear film.

"That's not me. That's a part I play. You know, like it's a piece of art...I just want to make music," the Daily Mail quoted her as telling Vogue.

Last week the singer was humiliated by a 61-year-old farmer who halted her video shoot when she was spotted stripping down to a bikini made of handkerchiefs.

Former glamour girl-turned-bodybuilder Jodie Marsh has revealed that she wants a breast reduction, as her implants are getting in the way of her pumped-up abs.

The beefed-up babe reckons that she has lost so much fat from her boobs that her implants now look ridiculous.

"My breasts used to look big yet natural -- but since training I've become so lean they now really stick out," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"At the championships last weekend, my boobs really counted against me. They hung down so low I had to hold them up so the judges could see my abs properly."

"My next job is definitely to get smaller implants fitted," she added.

Former child actors turned high-end fashion designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's controversial 39,000-dollar alligator skin backpack was the first item to sell from their new nine-piece handbag range.

Ashley told Women's Wear Daily that their fashion label The Row is scrambling to keep up with demand for the accessory.

"It was the first thing that sold off the shelf," the New York Daily News quoted her as telling the magazine.

She even noted that luxury items perform well during uncertain economic times.

"During our last economic crisis in the US, the only thing that went up was Hermes," she added.

Barneys New York began carrying the crocodile-skin bags in July, in an effort to compete with other ludicrously priced handbags.

A recent lingerie ad has been slammed for being sexist and reinforcing stereotypes of women as sex objects.

The advertisement for Hope lingerie shows Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen clad in sexy underwear telling an unseen husband that she crashed their car, exceeded her credit card limit and even invited his mother to stay with them, which is teamed with a voiceover telling consumers "You're a Brazilin woman -- use your charm".

The lingerie company has said that the point of the ad was to show a "Brazilian woman's sensuality is her best protection when delivering bad news".

The Women's Rights Secretariat in Brazil has asked the National Advertising Council to suspend the ad, which according to them is sexist rather than sexy.

"The campaign promotes the misguided stereotype of a woman as a sexual object of her husband and ignores the major advances we have achieved in deconstructing sexist practices and thinking," the New York Daily News quoted the secretariat as saying.

British model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has revealed she has three personal trainers in London, Los Angeles and New York, and therefore has no excuse to skip the gym.

Huntington-Whiteley, 24, who is the face of fragrance Burberry Body, has trainers in all three cities as she needs to always be in the gym to maintain her trim physique.

"It takes lots and lots of hard work. I have three personal trainers -- James Duigan in London, Jason Walsh in Los Angeles and my friend Justin in New York. That means there's no excuse not to be in the gym wherever I go," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

Apart from following a strict exercise regime, she controls her diet, and tries to put few carbohydrates into her body.

"Everything starts with exercise. Then you want to look after yourself and put good food in your body," she was quote as telling Britain's Grazia Magazine.

"I have a really good response when I cut out carbs so that's something I always do before a great event. I eat a high-protein diet and lots of greens," she added.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has revealed that she and her sisters look like trannies because they wear excessive makeup.

The actress said that she, Kourtney and Khloe ended up applying too many cosmetics when their late father hired a professional makeup artist to give them beauty tips.

"He said, 'My daughters are going to start to wear makeup and I want you guys to look at least presentable,' which I thought was really cool. And we've turned out to be the biggest trannies because of it," Contactmusic quoted the 30-year-old actress as telling xoJane.com

But many criticised the move and were unimpressed with the girls' excessive facial paint.

"We had publicists and people who would tell us, 'Girls, tone it down. Stop wearing all the makeup.' But then we would read on our blogs -- like in the comments and everything -- and everyone was like, 'What lipstick is this, what mascara do you use?' We were like, 'We love makeup, so why try and be what we're not?'" she added.

Younger sibling Khloe added that she did not mind the criticism as they knew that they did not have to apply too much makeup.

"We joke and say we are like trannies because we love hair and makeup," Khloe said.

Dior in dilemma after design head John Galliano's firing

French fashion house Christian Dior is set to announce its new head of design very soon.

John Galliano used to head the fashion house as creative director, but was sacked earlier this year after being accused of racism and anti-Semitism.

Bill Gaytten, acting head of design for Dior has explained that they have been experiencing a "tough period" after Galliano's firing, and the need for a new team leader is imminent.

"It's been a tough period, but what can I say? My lips are sealed, but all will be revealed," Contactmusic quoted the 51-year-old Englishman as saying.

Dior is also set to do away with Galliano's "fantasy narrative" autumn/winter 2011 collection and move back to "classic", but contemporary styles and shapes.

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph newspaper Gaytten said, "It's definitely more about reality than fantasy. The fantasy narrative was very John."

"We've gone for classic Dior shapes, but contemporary," he added.

As speculations go, Alexander Wang will probably take on the role of head designer as frontrunners Haiden Ackerman, Marc Jacobs and Riccardo Tisci have been ruled out.
