Pammie's latest PETA ad too racy for airports
Pamela Anderson's latest ad for PETA, which is banned at some US airports, has also been deemed too racy for Hong Kong, one of Asia's busiest aviation hubs.
The ad shows the scantily-clad former Baywatch star as an airport security guard who strips passengers of leather, fur and other skins, reports Adelaide Now.
The ad, titled 'Cruelty Doesn't Fly', also features comedian Steve-O, a star of the Jackass movie series, and German punk icon Nina Hagen.
It is already banned at airports in New York City and Boston, PETA said.
The animal rights group also said that it is still hoping to run the ad in other Asia-Pacific airports, including Tokyo, Seoul and Sydney.
Elle Macpherson's new 'Bare and Bold' underwear collection

Australian model-turned-lingerie tycoon Elle Macpherson is all set to launch a new collection of underwear specifically designed to be worn under T-shirts.
The new collection is called, appropriately, 'Bare and Bold' -- which can be seen as a reference to the classic black and white shot of the Australian supermodel photographed nude by Herb Ritts in 1994 for Playboy.
'Bare and Bold', which will go on sale on January 3, features a collection of T-shirt bras made from a slinky knit fabric over expertly-moulded cups, in mouthwatering shades of strawberry, lemon-drop and pistachio, together with classic jet-black, white and beige.
The bras are available in plunge-cup, push-up and underwired styles, as well as a strapless option with detachable halter-neck straps. There is also a range of matching briefs designed with a double-layer fold-back to prevent the dreaded VPL (visible panty line) showing under clothes.
"I wanted to ensure this collection was functional and comfortable under clothes while still being desirable," the Telegraph quoted Macpherson as saying.
"Lingerie is an emotional purchase for women even when it comes to the T-shirt bra. The fit, style and look must be perfect. 'Bare and Bold' offers the ultimate silhouette regardless of the profile you choose," she added.
The bras come in sizes 32-36 A to D cup, at 40 pounds (the convertible strapless bra is 42 pounds), while the briefs, in sizes s-l, are 22 pounds.

We don't often hear of celebs wanting to dress other celebs, but singer-turned-fashion designer Dannii Minogue has revealed that she would love to dress Jennifer Aniston.
The Australian beauty launched her clothing range, Project D, earlier this year and a host of stars have already been seen in her dresses.
But Dannii and business partner Tabitha Somerset Webb admit it would be a dream come true to see the former Friends star in one of their creations.
"Jennifer Aniston is the girl we'd absolutely love to wear our clothes. I'd die happy if I could wear a pair of jeans and a white T-shirt like she does. That whole ethos of clean, simple, effortless glamour is what we're all about," Contactmusic quoted Tabitha as saying.
Dannii is also keen for everyday women to be able to wear her clothes, so didn't want to make them extraordinarily expensive like that of fellow designer Victoria Beckham.
"I love Victoria Beckham's clothes and I admire her hugely as a designer, but wanted to be able to have a much more affordable price point."
"Our clothes are beautifully made, they are dresses you'll want to wear again and again and I think they are just beautiful," Dannii said.

Paris Hilton is in the news once more for all the wrong reasons -- the star might have to shell out 70 million dollars for reneging on a deal with a company.
Hairtech International has claimed in its lawsuit against Hilton that she cost them 70 million dollars when she went back on her deal to promote and wear its hair extensions, reports TMZ.
Hairtech alleged that Hilton pocketed 3.5 million dollars from the company for endorsing the extensions, but then started wearing those of rival companies.
They also claim that when Hilton went to jail in 2007, she breached the deal by breaking the law.
Stick-thin model sparks debate on fashion website

A former reality show star who is painfully thin has sparked debate on a fashion website.
Allie Crandell, who appeared on MTV's The City, sparked debate on RevolveClothing.com when buyers began commenting on her, Styleite.com reported.
"I can't believe Revolve would think that this model is a good representation for them," the New York Daily News quoted one user as commenting.
"If you want people to buy from your company, don't make them feel bad by showing your clothing on someone who clearly has no self esteem or respect for their body," the user added.
After the comments continued, Revolve issued a statement in the comments' section promising to work closely with Crandell and her agent to get her to a healthier size.
"She won't be appearing in any of our new product batches or in any of our fashion editorial photos moving forward until the issue is adequately addressed," the company promised.
But customers didn't seem to be satisfied by the company's response, and Crandell's picture remained on RevolveClothing.com as they kept promising to boycott the website.

Caro died on November 17 after returning to France from a job in Tokyo, according to her longtime acting instructor, Daniele Dubreuil-Prevot.
Dubreuil-Prevot said she did not know the cause of death but that Caro "had been sick for a long time," referring to her anorexia, reports CBS News.
Caro's anorexic image appeared in a shock Italian ad campaign photographed by Italian photographer Oliviero Toscani in 2007 for an Italian fashion house.
Under the headline 'No Anorexia', images across newspapers and billboards showed Caro naked, vertebrae and facial bones protruding.
Caro said in interviews she had suffered from anorexia since she was 13 and blamed her disease on "a troubled childhood."

Christina Aguilera's racy X Factor final performance, which had set millions of male pulses racing, has also sent sales of stockings and suspenders soaring.
More than 1,000 viewers had complained about a near-striptease by the pop singer as she sang a song from her film Burlesque.
But lingerie firm Gossard said that it helped boost the sales of suspender belts and elasticated hold-ups by 63 percent.
"It has been a Christmas of stocking thrillers rather than stocking fillers," the Daily Express quoted Gossard managing director Tony Jarvis as saying.

A lot of women are going to be wishing they had as fashion-conscious and generous a husband as Jay-Z after reading this!
The rapper was spotted on a last-minute Christmas dash for wife Beyonce on Christmas Eve. Jay-Z was at the Hermes boutique in New York, where he reportedly spent a staggering sum for his wife, reports the New York Post.
"Jay was in a private room of Hermes doing last-minute shopping. He had a guard standing watch outside. He spent $350,000 on Birkin bags, among other things," said a source.
The music mogul apparently got so carried away shopping that he missed his scheduled lunch and had it delivered to the store instead.

Welsh lingerie model Danielle Lineker has revealed that she suffers from arthritis and that it had started when she was just 15 years of age.
Danielle, 31, who is married to former England striker and Match Of The Day presenter Gary Lineker, is one of 10 million people in the UK who suffer from arthritis.
"I was 15 when I was told I had arthritis. I was playing sport at school and noticed some pain in my knees," the Daily Express quoted her as recalling.
"I remember feeling concerned because I'd seen both my grandmothers riddled with pain with their arthritis."
"They couldn't sleep and painkillers seemed to do nothing, but luckily mine does not seem to have progressed," she said.
She revealed that most don't believe her when she tells them she has arthritis, and they usually ask her if she is sure about it.
"The cold weather makes it worse, so I've been feeling it a lot lately and certain movements can bring on the pain too," she revealed.
"I took my nine-year-old daughter Ella ice-skating recently and the pain in my knees became so bad I had to stop. It made me sad I can't even do something so simple with her, even at my age. Skiing would be unthinkable," she added.

British supermodel Kate Moss has revealed that she prefers the 'natural look' when she is not working.
Moss, who has fronted cosmetic campaigns for Rimmel London and Dior, prefers to have a fresh, untouched face when she is off duty.
"I love make-up when I'm in the studio, but when I'm not working I just want a natural look," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
Although she favours plain chic over heavy make-up, Moss admits she never leaves home without curling her eyelashes and applying some eyeliner.

Revlon bosses have agreed to donate more than 250,000 dollars to fund renovations at a Los Angeles shelter for domestic abuse victims, thanks to Halle Berry's efforts.
The actress, a long-time supporter and volunteer at the Jenessee Center, persuaded the cosmetics firm to fund the facility when the shelter bosses asked her if she could help them with a costly makeover.
Revlon has agreed to pay for half the 500,000-dollar renovation as a gesture to Berry for being the company's spokesmodel for the past 15 years, reports Contactmusic.
The Oscar winner has insisted that the help she has been able to give the shelter meant more to her than any movie she has starred in.
On CNN's Christmas special, Big Stars, Big Giving, she had described how her crusade to help domestic violence victims came from watching her mother being abused by her father.
Hollywood diva Brandy Norwood gets Hindu Lord Ganesh tattoo

Brandy Norwood, one of the best-selling female artists in American music history, reportedly got a new tattoo of Hindu deity Ganesh and is proud of it.
The reports suggest that California tattoo artist Peter Koskela inked the elephant-headed god on Image Award winner Norwood's left wrist.
According to her tweets, Norwood knew that it was the image of Ganesh, the 'Remover of all Obstacles', but mistook him for an 'Egyptian god'. On being pointed out by her Twitter followers, she quickly corrected her error and wrote: "Ganesh is actually a Hindu deity, not Egyptian :) the tattoo is gorgeous!"
Welcoming Norwood's interest in Lord Ganesh, well-known Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, urged her to go beyond the fashion statement and explore the rich philosophical thought which Hinduism offered. Zed volunteered to gladly provide the Hinduism resources helpful in her exploration and comprehensive understanding of Hinduism.
Rajan Zed, who is president of Universal Society of Hinduism, further said that Hollywood celebrities needed to have more patience and go beyond the superficial because Hinduism concepts evolved over thousands of years and needed deep study. He urged Norwood to visit a nearby Hindu temple to have a firsthand experience of Hinduism.
