Kate Upton has agreed to go to the high school prom with one of her teenage fan.
Jake Davidson, who made a two-minute YouTube video asking Upton to consider accompanying him to the event, received the shock after the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model accepted his request, News.com.au reported.
"I'm Jewish, 5'9" on a really good day - and I can't dance. At all," the Los Angeles teenager jokes in the video.
"You're Christian, 5'10", and that Cat Daddy video should have won an Oscar for best short film. You could say this is destiny," he said.
Davidson argued that despite all the differences, the pair has a lot in common.
"You like sports, I like sports. You like fine dining, I like fine dining. You're on the cover of Sports Illustrated. I read Sports Illustrated," he said.
The high school student was temporarily left speechless after he was discussing the video on the US breakfast show Today and Upton called in.
"This just got so much better now that you're on the phone. I'm telling you it will be a great night, great evening – I could even get the curfew extended hopefully by my parents maybe," he said.
"I hope you'd be interested if your schedule is free, and what time should I pick you up if you are interested?" he added.
The US model responded and told Davidson that she loved the video and will love to go to the prom with him but only if her schedule allows.

Naomi Watts has revealed that she wants to age gracefully as she is afraid that plastic surgery will make her look 'freakish' and ruin her ability to show emotion on screen.
The 44-year-old actress has no interest in participating in Hollywood's Botox trend because she believes that actresses with wrinkles land the best roles, Contactmusic reported.
The 21 Grams star told Good Health magazine that she does not judge anyone who does it, but most of the characters she play are going through some kind of emotional turmoil, so her job requires her to have expression and if her face was frozen, then what right does she have to play the part.
Watts explained that all the women who haven't done anything to their faces are still able to play great roles and some of the ones who have done something have messed it up because they end up looking weird.
The mum-of-two, who tries to keep her body looking youthful naturally by doing pilates, dance cardio among other sports, further added that for her it's about playing women with rich lives and the longer the life, the deeper the wrinkles.

Eva Mendes, who has lost her curves for her gritty new film The Place Beyond The Pines, is not preoccupied with how she looks.
She told the Sun that to get her latest role as downtrodden Romina in upcoming crime drama, she made herself look as plain as possible for her audition for director Derek Cianfrance.
She said that she went kind of Jersey Girl on him and looked plain and simple, as she wore almost zero make-up.
But the 39-year-old actress then took that dedication one step further by embarking on a strict diet and losing about 15lb for the film, as she thought that it would add to her sense of being a little lost or sadder.
Mendes, who is dating actor Ryan Gosling, also confessed that she has gained most of her weight back as that was a lot for her to lose and that she didn't like the hard and toned look.
Mendes said that being sexy is just one component of who she is - it's a thing that she can tap into, just like she can tap into her funny, quirky or her dramatic side and it's not what she is.
She asserted that her looks had probably caused some directors and studios to shy away from her for certain roles.
She added that she is the one who is responsible for whatever image of herself she has put out there, as this business often wants to sexualise women and she understood that but at some point she got tired of being always thought of as "sexy" and allowed that description to define the kind of work she was doing.

R&B star Beyonce has been unveiled as the new face of the Swedish fashion brand H&M and is set to feature in the chain's global summer campaign.
Rumors first arose when the 31-year-old mother of one was spotted posing for a tropical shoot in the Bahamas in the New Year, while one of her dancers tweeted an accidental confirmation.
Now, Beyonce has announced her collaboration with the brand, reported Huffington Post.
"I've always liked H&M's focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements - fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island," she said in a statement.
For the new campaign, entitled "Beyonce as Mrs Carter in H&M", the singer was shot by photography duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinnodh Matadin in the Bahaman capital city of Nassau.
A new television ad has been directed by Jonas Akerlund, the man behind videos for the Rolling Stones, U2 and Madonna, while Standing On The Sun provides the soundtrack.
Beyonce had a say apparently in the pieces for H&M's high summer 2013 collection.
"What makes these pieces even more special is that Beyonce herself had input into the design, and they are full of her own personal style," said Ann-Sofie Johansson, head of design at H&M.

According to sources, Timberlake is still involved in the brand but by the end of the year, he won't be anymore, reported Aceshowbiz.
Rast is known for its premium jeans. It has released several collections during New York Fashion Weeks but allegedly hasn't had any show since 2010.
"Not a lot of retailers wanted it. Because the perception is Justin's not involved, so why would anyone want to wear it?"
A spokesman for the clothing line says, without denying Timberlake's exit, that the Bad Teacher actor is "eternally" connected to the brand because it's "a combination of Justin's grandfather's name and Justin's best friend's grandfather's name."
Timberlake is currently promoting his comeback album The 20/20 Experience which is expected to have a sequel later this year.
He has also teamed up with designer Tom Ford to create a collection of clothing inspired by his album which has first single called Suit & Tie.
