Lehengas, kalidaars, saris -- what do you think of these A-list celebrities' outfits? Let us know by taking a vote on each!
It's been a season of several high-profile weddings and awards functions for our glitterati and they've been flitting from one do to the next in their fashionable best.
What's more, the rage over evening gowns is fast dying down and everyone is back to glamorous ethnicwear. So here, we present our hotties in Indian wear -- vote for their choice of outfits and let us know whether each is a hit or a miss!
We start off with Bollywood's queen of the hour Katrina Kaif, seen here in a haze of peach, pink and white. Her elegant choli moves into a sheer kurta and ends at her ankles, like her lehenga. We think Kat's outfit has a lot of royal appeal, but what do you think?
She may not be as popular an actress as Kat, but Dia Mirza can certainly hold her own when it comes to style. She positively stuns in this contemporary take on the traditional sari, complete with attached sheer black lace blouse.
From the First Wives' Club, Gauri Khan is definitely a leading fashionista. Her rich green drape is complimented by a heavily worked matching choli -- and a whopper of a solitaire emerald!
We're glad to have a glimpse of Preity Zinta in something other than denims! The dimpled doll steps it up a notch in this red sari with velour choli and antiquated gold border.
Looking fresh-faced as a Spanish belle with a rose in her hair, Sonakshi Sinha gives off her electric Dabangg vibe in a pristine white anarkali. Like her look?
If Suzanne Roshan didn't have an eye for design, she wouldn't be a successful interior decorator. This chic red, black and gold ensemble gets a thumbs-up!
The bubbly Genelia D'Souza graced a recent marriage reception wearing a simple red sari and big smile. Less is more or a tad too plain? You decide.
Second-time mommy Kajol is still carrying around a bit of baby weight, but it was well camouflaged at an awards function with this flowing number, teamed with a chic little bolero.
Bubblegum pink is not exactly a flattering hue, but we think Twinkle Khanna did a remarkable job carrying it off here, what say? Her churidaar kurta is cute and cheerful.
Deepika Padukone has a body that can carry off anything and this peachy churidaar kurta is no exception. It's both classy and feminine, what say?
It's not always about skinshow and Vidya Balan drives the point home by buttoning up in a sharp crimson ethnic jacket. Now that's style!
You can't go wrong with a black netted drape and Kareena Kapoor's choice rocks it out with a scattering of sequins. We like!
Hmmm. We're not so sure pale yellow is Rani Mukerji's colour. The sari is pretty enough (undoubtedly Sabyasachi), but it seems to do nothing for the No One Killed Jessica actress, does it?
The lovely Kalki Koechlin makes a statement in a purple-white-and-gold ethnic number. It suits her to the tee!
Wherever Priyanka Chopra goes, adoring glances are sure to follow. The 7 Khoon Maaf star looks elegant and relaxed in this churidaar kameez with vibrant red border and hints of gold embroidery.
Radiant and ravishing in red, Nita Ambani looks like she could give plenty of younger ladies a run for their money with her style choices. We particularly liked her Judith Leiber Ganesha clutch purse. Embellished with crystals by hand, it carries a cool pricetag of Rs 2,60,000 (for a closer look, click here).
Urmila Matondkar's formal effort pays off with this pretty white floor-sweeping ensemble -- just the right amount of embellishment!
Bold and beautiful Gul Panag's no-fuss attitude towards dressing up usually pays off -- her look is always effortless elegant and this silky salwaar kameez is no different.
Timelessly appealing, Neetu Kapoor attends an awards function decked out in a gold drape -- and hubby Rishi seems to be guarding his treasure!
Shriya Saran opts for a wispy white sari with only subtle hints of shimmer -- suits her, doesn't it? And it looks like someone's been working out!
Another yesteryears siren, Rekha still manages to sizzle in her favourite silk drapes -- and no, we can't believe she's over 50 either!
The creamy tone of that sari and her sweet smile are certainly looking good on Sonali Bendre. Way to go!
Is it just us, or can Payal Rohatgi never get it right? Pink, gold and silver is quite a sorry combination and that hairdo isn't doing her any favours either!
That's rather a striking voluminous choice, Raveena Tandon, but shouldn't you have eased up on the makeup just a tad? Whoa!
Maria Goretti plays up her petite prettiness in a light pink floor-sweeper with crystal-embellished bodice. It's unique and what's more, it suits her.
Take a leaf out of Shabana Azmi's book when it comes to age-appropriate dressing. She certainly cuts a very attractive figure in this black churidaar kameez with colourful border!
We're happy to see Gracy Singh on the scene again after so long, but the actress' sari is just too busy for us -- too much colour and too much happening on it!
And finally, we come to Suniel's wife Mana Shetty -- maybe she should give Gracy tips on choosing mixed hues, because her outfit goes down well!
