Here's a look at the models and actresses -- plus a breakdown of what they wore -- at the Elle Beauty Awards 2012.
The annual Elle Beauty Awards ceremony held in Mumbai on October 1 was all about bling.
Celebrities attended in plenty of shimmering finery (the theme of the evening was 'disco'), but how many actually managed to ace the look?
Take a look and let us know your thoughts on the messageboard below!
We start off Jiah Khan, who was looking fresh-faced and had her hair and makeup down pat. Unfortunately, the feathery Falguni & Shane Peacock dress she was wearing did nothing for her and the accessories didn't go together -- that edgy Christian Louboutin spike clutch is hardly a match with sophisticated slingback heels!
Model-turned-actress Diana Penty was quite the couture kitten in a sparkling Bottega Veneta dress, teamed with gold Jimmy Choo sandals.
We're guessing Soha Ali Khan didn't get the memo about 'disco' night -- her Emporio Armani dress was sophisticated to the tee and she mixed in high street accessories (read Zara belt and shoes) a la the Duchess of Cambridge.
Evelyn Sharma sparkled in a Jatin Varma mini, completing the look with a gold clutch from The Source in Mumbai and Jimmy Choo shoes.
Vicky Donor star Yami Gautam looked pretty, but there was nothing funky about her Namrata Joshipura crossover number.
Model Hasleen Kaur took quite a fashion risk in this black lace Rajat Tangri top and high-waisted leathery pants -- but it seems to have paid off, what say?
Amrita Puri got into the spirit of things at the Beauty Awards with her retro-style Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna dress, a Diane Von Furstenberg clutch and T-strap peeptoes.
Like Diana, former Miss India Kanishtha Dhankar also opted for a Bottega Veneta number -- and is it just us, or are those the exact same shoes Amrita was wearing too?
Model Elena Fernandes was quite the queen of bling, combining a Nikhil Thampi cropped top with an electric Sailex skirt.
Sanjay Dutt's niece Nazia Hussain, who is looking to follow in her family's B-Town footsteps, attended too. Unfortunately, the blue gown and gold clutch were more blah and less bling.
Elle India's editor-in-chief Nonita Kalra upheld her fashionista reputation with a lovely Vivienne Westwood outfit, Ferragamo pumps and a Dior bag.
And finally, we have socialite Nisha Jhaveri, who definitely did nothing to impress with an LBD and silver footwear -- most ordinary!
