From Manish Malhotra's Bollywood glamour to Naeem Khan's international silhouettes, Rediff.com brings you 2013's best festive couture from the biggest Indian designers.

Naeem Khan

Intricate zari embellishments made an appearance at Naeem Khan's -- the Mumbai-born couturier to Hollywood beauties, royalty and American First Lady Michelle Obama -- Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013 debut.

Worked into sophisticated gowns, they are just the thing you need to stand out in the festive clutter.

Anita Dongre

Anita Dongre's Rajasthan-inspired collection at the Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013 had designs that were just right for the woman who challenges convention, yet celebrates tradition.

The contrast is a head turner, we assure you.

Manish Arora

Like Sonam Kapoor we loved the trademark neons that Manish Arora brought to this sari. The actress gave the creation a turn at the Wills India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2013.

On the ramp -- in India and in Paris -- Arora added Indian touches with his accessories.

For those who adore statement jewellery, these are a must try.

Manish Malhotra offered something for everybody this year. The chiffons, the velvets, the zari were all present and accounted for, but we adored the turn he took with the ghagra pants.

Ritu Kumar

This season Ritu Kumar gave us festive designs we can take to work. Add on one of her jackets or capes and you can go from office staid to Diwali glam in seconds.

Sabyasachi

Sabyasachi lent his ethereal touch with saris to inspired festive creations.

Tarun Tahiliani

Pre-draped saris, the classic salwar kameez, fusion cuts -- you can't go wrong with a Tarun Tahiliani this Diwali.

Little Shilpa

Little Shilpa is not for the sartorially faint hearted. Her Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013 collection, titled Grey Matter, gave the sari a wonderful quirky spin with men’s shirts, tees and katori choli-cum-shirts.

Even London loved it.

 

Masaba

Nobody, absolutely nobody in India does prints like Masaba Gupta. On saris, palazzo pants, shararas and dhoti-esque salwars, you can spot a Masaba from a mile off. And isn't that just the way to keep all eyes on you?

Vikram Phadnis managed to bring out the swadesi best in festive couture -- perfect for the celebrity and the common man.
