If you want to look like the perfect 10 regardless of your body type, take a leaf out of their book.

How do all the divas in entertainment manage to look so alluring on the red carpet?

After all, Kylie Minogue is only 5'2" tall and curvy Kim Kardashian is as far from size zero as they come. And yet they're absolutely flawless at all public appearances.

It's all down to their carefully chosen wardrobes, of course -- and keeping the following style tips in mind, you can work the same advantages in your favour too!

Look hotter in: A plunging neckline

This one's a no-brainer. You want to go sexy, just take the plunge like supermodel Marisa Miller and show off some cleavage.

Make sure, however, that your outfit is well-balanced to avoid looking trashy -- a low neckline means a low hemline too and vice versa, else you'll be flashing way too much flesh.

Look hotter in: A sizzling mini

Got a great set of gams like Blake Lively? Cover up the decolletage and opt for a stunning mini dress or skirt -- it's sure to have the guys sit up and take notice!

Look hotter in: A bodycon

A bodycon that clings to every curve is sure to flatter your figure. Since all of us don't have Miranda Kerr's figure, however, you may consider wearing some control shapewear to smooth out any lumps and bumps, as such outfits can also be very unforgiving.

Look curvier in: Higher waistlines

If you're looking to add some inches in the right places, the easiest trick is to opt for a higher waistline -- note how British songstress Diane Vickers' athletic frame is complemented by her high-waisted shorts and matching crop top.

Look curvier in: Peplums

Fergie scores an hourglass with her peplum LBD and you can too, because the added panel of fabric will add curves to your hips.

Look curvier in: A-line outfits

Victoria's Secret model Erin Heatherton has an athletic, toned bod, but this lovely white A-line number adds a fuller, more feminine touch to it.

Look taller in: Vertical stripes

Vertically challenged? Vertical stripes are the solution, as they create a lengthening illusion -- note how Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looks even more statuesque in her trendy strapless jumpsuit.

Look taller in: Skinny jeans

Skinnies stick to your frame and have you looking slimmer. And anything that has you looking slim will have a lengthening effect too, as is plain to see on Stacy Keibler.

Look taller in: Slits

Of course, Megan Fox's daring slit is a tad too much for most of us, but don't lose sight of the effect -- a skirt or gown with a slit down one side will emphasise the lines of your figure and have you looking taller.

Look more sophisticated in: A jacket

If sophistication is your ultimate sartorial aim, go out and purchase a formal jacket in a neutral shade. Barbara Palvin certainly works hers well, along with an overall androgynous look on the red carpet.

Look more sophisticated in: Clean lines

No ruffles, pleats or ruching -- stick to simple, striking silhouettes like Taylor Swift in her stunning black ensemble, with its strong lines and no-fuss design.

Look more sophisticated in: Minimalist designs

Cut out the vibrant hues, busy patterns and statement accessories -- in fashion circles, minimalist is another word for sophistication, a principle actress Emma Stone mastered awhile ago.

Look thinner in: Cinched in waistlines

Most of us try to look thinner than we actually are and it's fairly easy with a little know-how -- one of the easiest tricks is to choose a garment with a cinched-in waistline that creates an overall slimmer silhouette. And that's just what Kylie Minogue is doing here.

Look thinner in: Colour blocking or solid shades

Padma Lakshmi has been sporting a fuller figure in recent years, but she still looks every inch the supermodel. How? It's with stylish choices like this colourblock dress, which uses different hues to accentuate the right body proportions. Alternatively, you can opt for solid hues for the same effect.

Look thinner in: Corset creations

And finally we come to one last trick -- corsets. The garment itself qualifies as shapewear lingerie, so when it's incorporated into outerwear, it's undoubtedly a winner, nipping in your tummy and trimming your torso.
