Stars dazzle at Miss India 2011
If you happened to miss the action on television last evening, here's what happened at Miss India 2011
Femina Miss India 2011 saw some sizzling performances by Bollywood hotties such as Sonakshi Sinha, Malaika Arora Khan and Anushka Sharma among others.
Sonakshi Sinha showed off her curves as she paid tribute to former Miss Indias -- Zeenat Aman, Juhi Chawla, Lara Dutta, Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai -- by performing to a range of dance numbers from the classic Chura Liya to Darling and Kajra Re.
Mallika burns the dance floor
Malaika Arora Khan also grooved to the superhit Munni from Dabanng. Giving her company was Sonu Sood who played the villain in the movie.
Anuskha shows why she's the hottest!
The star of the evening was Anushka Sharma who showed just why she is one of the most promising newcomers in Bollywood.
In a sexy black number Sharma danced to a medley of tracks that included Dard-e-Disco, Haule Haule, Dhan Te Nan and the latest hit Ainvayi Ainvayi.
Hard core entertainment
Hard Kaur, that spunky singer, had the crowd dancing to her tunes.
Among those who performed during the evening included television actors Gaurav Kapoor and Gaurav and Harshad Chopra among others.
Crooning glory: Sunidhi Chauhan
Sunidhi Chauhan also entertained the audiences as she belted out some of her latest hits.
The judges for the evening included designer Ritu Kumar, dance guru Shiamak Davar, tennis star Leander Paes, filmmakers Sajid Nadiadwala and Tarun Mansukhani and actors Dino Morea, Fardeen Khan, Urmila Matondkar and Kangna Ranaut.
Kanishtha Dhankhar won the Pantaloons Femina Miss India World title, Hasleen Kaur won the Pantaloons Femina Miss India Earth title and Ankita Shorey won the Pantaloons Femina Miss India International title.
