Here's a look at the celebrities who attended the Vogue Beauty Awards 2012 -- and the winners.
Fashion bible Vogue Magazine held its annual Beauty Awards function in Mumbai last night.
Honouring both products and people who have made their mark in the field of beauty, big names like Kajol and Deepika Padukone ranked among the recipients, while stars like Dia Mirza and Zarine Khan were in attendance. Take a look.
Kajol
Winning the Timeless Beauty award, Kajol had heads turning after a long time -- she looked positively stunning in a floral sequinned strapless gown. All that baby weight has finally melted away and she's looking like the glamorous superstar she is!
Dippy scooped the Beauty of the Year title -- and drove the point home in this sexy Dolce & Gabbana ensemble, teamed with the perfect accessories.
The South Indian siren was honoured as Fresh Face -- and looked the part, although her daring sheer-panelled gown proved quite a distraction!
The Debutant Award went to the leggy model, who has just made her foray into movies. And she looked most elegant on the red carpet, wearing a black wrap gown.
Not to be outdone, Angela, who was named Best Model, donned a bold transparent black dress that showed off her curves to perfection.
Farhan was the only male from B-Town to be presented a Vogue award -- for Most Beautiful Man. We'd agree if he hadn't flattened his hair out with a roadroller and decided to shave!
Wife Adhuna, on the other hand, looked rather trendy in a geek-chic dress and glasses.
Model-turned-actress Nargis was in attendance, and opted for a rather busy layered gown with plunging neckline.
For once, Zarine wasn't overdressed and managed to look rather sophisticated in a black jumpsuit.
Kajol's younger sis was at hand to support her win, but Tanisha sank when it came to style -- it looked like she'd wrapped herself in a yellow silk bedsheet for the evening.
As always, Dia managed to look sweet and sexy at the same time in a flouncy sheen-tinged cocktail. We love the new hairstyle too!
Gul's hair was amazingly edgy too, but her black sequinned dress didn't have quite the same effect -- the single giant puffed sleeve killed the look.
The starlet looked lovely in a yellow backless maxi, complete with a train -- if only she hadn't scooped it up into her hand for the shutterbugs!
Shenaz's Delhi Belly co-star reminded us of her modelling roots, looking fabulous in an ethereal flowing outfit.
The model went for a quirky vibe, pulling it off perfectly in this shimmery jumpsuit and funky hairdo.
Model Hasleen played it safe, on the other hand, with a rather tame black and white gown.
Milind Soman's girlfriend opted for a jumpsuit too, but it did her no favours, even though the colour was attractive.
Lisa's younger sister looked alluring in a sexy dress, but her footwear was a total failure -- flipflops? On the red carpet? Really!
Zoa tried to make an impact with a tribal design, but we didn't quite know what to make of it.
And finally we come to socialite Nisha Jhaveri, who was dripping luxurious labels from head to foot -- but really should learn to ease up on the makeup!
