US-based travel dating website MissTravel.com recently held a poll that rates nations according to the sex appeal of their citizens. Here are the results when it comes to the ladies (for the men's list, click here)!

In the following pages, we bring you the findings of a survey conducted by MissTravel.com, which saw a total of 44,000 single men and women cast votes for the best-looking nationalities from across the globe.
When it comes to women, here are the countries that reigned in the top 10 -- and some of their most popular personalities!
1. Colombia
We start off with the winners of the ladies' poll -- Colombia. If you've ever laid eyes on sizzling singer Shakira or Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara, you'll know why Colombian chickas came up trumps!
2. Brazil
The South American country, known for both its colourful bikinis and bikini babes like supermodel Adriana Lima came in a close second.
3. The United States of America
Coming in at three, the US is hardly short on hotties. Brooklyn Decker and Kate Upton -- need we say more?
4. Spain
Spanish senoritas like Penelope Cruz and Elsa Pataky propelled their home country to fourth position.
5. Russia
Anne Vyalitsyna, Natalia Vodianova, Irina Shayk -- every second supermodel seems to hail from Russia, which is why the nation comes in fifth on the list.
6. The Netherlands
Dreamy Dutch muses like Lara Stone and Doutzen Kroes have done wonders for the Netherlands' reputation as a sexy nation.
