When the rich and famous get together, they only get wealthier and more popular!
Celebrity and money usually go together, but when you're talking about a celebrity couple, it takes on a whole new meaning.
Forbes has just released its list of the highest-paid celeb couples in the world for 2011 -- here it is!
1. Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady
Brazilian supermodel Bundchen and her NFL playing husband have been named the world's highest paid celebrity couple.
According to Forbes, the two brought in a staggering 76 million dollars between May 2010 and May 2011. Bundchen reportedly pocketed 45 million dollars last year alone and is on her way to becoming the world's first billionaire supermodel, reports News.com.au
Brady brought a further 31 million dollars to the table for the year from his spot on the New England Patriots NFL team.
Music's most powerful spouses Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z ranked second, after raking in 72 million dollars during the year.
Knowles' 35 million dollars earnings are a result of her deals with clothing line Dereon and endorsement deals with L'Oreal, DirecTV, General Mills and others.
Jay-Z's cash came mostly from his deal with concert-promotions giant Live Nation, whom he has signed on for a 150-million dollar 10-year deal.
The Hollywood A-listers took third place with a combined 50-million-dollars annual income.
And as in the case of Bundchen and Brady, it was the lady of the house who brought home more bacon! Jolie pocketed about $30 million last year, while partner Pitt cashed in $20 million.
Beckham and Posh were fourth, with 45 million dollars in earnings between May 2010 and May 2011.
At 36, his career as a footballer is on the decline, but Beckham's endorsements for Adidas, Samsung and the like saw him earn $40 million.
On the other hand, Victoria's fashion line is really taking off and saw her pull in an additional $5 million.
Twilight duo Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are the youngest on the Forbes list and round it off at fifth position.
Both collected 20 million dollars each thanks to the franchise's global success, making their combined annual salary $40 million.
