Pix: Indian-born designer rocks New York runway!

He's designed for Michelle Obama, Beyonce Knowles and Jennifer Lopez. And yesterday Indian-born Naeem Khan showcased his fall/winter collection 2010 at the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week only to receive a standing ovation. Here's a look at his creations on the runway.

In Khan's own words, this particular line was "a celebration of glamour with a touch of American classic sportswear and a hint of love, sex and rock & roll". Seen here is a stunning silver sequinned cocktail with geometric motif.

Soft beige flyaways and peek-a-boo fabric are set off by a tulle bow at the waist -- an elegant golden gown if ever there was one.

This careless black drape is adorned with silver glimmer and the overall look is toughened up with gladiator sandals and a chunky neckpiece.

A red raw silk jacket is the cynosure of all eyes; the satin tie-up at the neck and stonework on the dress underneath add just the right touch.

We loved this gently cascading number, with its hiked up hemline and subtle ruffled effect. And don't miss those trendy shoes!

Khan's creations take a decidedly punky turn with this one-sleeved metallic ensemble. Very chic!

The backless cut of this outfit is particularly appealing, along with its bubble motif dotted by crystals.

The designer's kicky gold tasselled mini scores bigtime on the runway -- just the right amount of bling!

Black sequins texture this mermaid silhouette, which would be a surefire hit on any red carpet.

Thigh-high boots make their presence felt, clashing in a good way with this bronze-tinged dress.
