LFW: Womenswear goes short, hot and sexy!

Check out Siddhartha Tytler's showing from Lakme on the third day.

Designer Siddhartha Tytler's 'Metalosophy' collection, presented at the LFW was all about garments flaunting immense structural appeal, shades of metallic brilliance and dazzling embellishment techniques.

Sheeting, crystals and applique work adorned jersey, French chiffons, georgettes, silk spandex, lame and duchess satin and colours ranged from beige and gold to silver-grey and black. Take a look.

We start off with this simple but stunning white cocktail drape.

Casual chic

Nicole Faria strikes a pose in skintight leggings and a floral sleeveless top.

Nip and tuck

This mini features a tuck at the waist and pretty crystal embroidery at the neck.

Gal in gold

Kavita Kharayat shows off her legs in gold shorts and a kaftan blouse.

See-through style

Sanea Shaikh models a bikini, sheer kurta and lame leggings.

Corset couture

Stunning in a heavily embroidered corset and dhoti pants we have Candice Pinto.

Cocktail class

This draping toga cocktail with matching wrist cuff certainly caught everyone's eye.

Sheen and shine

We see Nicole once more, this time in a sheen-tinged top and embroidered skirt.

Take the plunge

Tytler makes a statement with this see-through kaftan, worn over a bodysuit that certainly takes the plunge!

Stardust

Another dare-to-bare ensemble is seen here -- a bikini and sheer top, teamed with hotpants that have plenty of sparkle.

Charcoal tone

We see a continuity in the palette, with another charcoal one-sided number.

The gown goes to town

Candice takes another turn in a flowing, cross-necked gown.

It's electric!

All-over sequinned garments rarely work, but this one certainly does -- it's simply amazing!
