The veteran designer closed the show on Day Four of the Lakme Fashion Week.
Ritu Kumar worked her magic on the Lakme Fashion Week ramp on the fourth day of the fashion event with her collection The Thunder Mountain and the Curling Vine.
Nargis Fakhri closed the show for Ritu Kumar in a white fully embellished, layered, floor-length, kalidaar kurta and flowing dupatta and a diamond polki set, Haath Phool and Maang Tikka.
Here's a glimpse of the collection.

Ritu Kumar's line was inspired by the beauty and majesty of the deep woods and the serene mountains of the Himalayan region and was, as all Ritu Kumar lines, a riot of colours.
Kumar used hand-woven fabrics as well as stunning jamavar motifs of Kashmir in the outfits resulting in a stunning contemporary line made out of vintage textiles.
The fabrics ranged from silk to woven shawls in rich deep tones as Kumar converted some of the weaves into prints.
Every outfit bore a distinct Ritu Kumar stamp much like this wonderfully crafted kurti showed by Binal Trivedi that we simply couldn’t take our eyes off.
Even as Kumar used traditional Indian weaves, the silhouette of at least a part of the collection was distinctly western ranging from the easygoing and free-flowing to the sharp and formal.
The show was divided into two parts and the second one was focussed on kalidaar kurtas in shades of white, beige and khaki.
Next up we have Candice Pinto walking the ramp for Ritu Kumar in a pristine white outfit.
The collection also featured a stunning collection of jhumkas, kaan phool, shoulder dusters and chandelier earrings such as this one showed by Sony Kaur.
Ritu Kumar takes a bow at the end of the show with her showstopper Nargis Fakhri.
