Abhijit Saiprem is a fashion designer, who has also worked as an assistant costume designer for the production of a documentary film, called Ae Muskara, based on the queer culture of India.
Tell us about your style quotient...
Generally, I am freaking out, trying to be myself and having a good time here. I am wearing something that is designed by me -- a pair of satin pants -- and I have got my neck accessory from Flash.
What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion is not just about clothes. It's about the air we breathe, the way we are, the way you talk to people, your attitude, your lifestyle. Fashion is a form of art for me. Fashion can also be anti-society oriented.
Where do you buy your clothes from?
I buy them from anywhere. I am not brand-conscious. I buy from designer stores, design things myself...It all depends. I really don't care.
