We bring you ten colourful looks off the Lakme Fashion Week ramp that gel with the Festival of Colours!
The LFW, which concluded on Wednesday, saw a riot of colour and festive outfits on the catwalk. Here's a look at designerwear with that added Holi inspiration!
We start off with this gorgeous drape from Satya Paul's Puneet Nanda -- every colour of the rainbow seems to be worked into it and it's carried off to perfection by model Kavita Kharayat.
Next we have this printed box dress from Manas Dash -- it has not only an element of vivacity, but also ethnic patterning.
You know rickshaw regalia is bound to provide a burst of juicy citrus hues! And that's just what Sabah Khan's showstopper, modelled by actress Yuvika Chaudhary did.
It doesn't get more colourful than this! This jazzy striped number was the brainchild of designer Abhishek Byas.
Veteran designer Sabyasachi unleashed his creative streak with this semi-sari, worn over a long skirt.
We see Kavita once more for designer Sabbah Sharma -- isn't this bright billowing beauty really something?
Pam and Arch London went to town with their Western silhouettes -- but the vibrancy of colour clashes on their many outfits definitely fit into the scheme of Holi! Seen here is one such dress on Sanea Shaikh.
It almost looks like this flirty little number by Arpan Vohra has been doused in Holi powder!
And finally, here is a beautiful lehenga, the showstopping entry for Parvesh Jai, was carried off to perfection by Geeta Basra.
Happy Holi!
