Here's a look at designer Priyadarshini Rao's vibrant collection, held in collaboration with haircare giant TRESemme on Day Two of the LFW. Photographs: Rajesh Karkera
Boho-chic garments created from luxurious fabrics were the mainstay of Priyadarshini Rao's new line, showcased today at Lakme Fashion Week.
And since TRESemme were the sponsors, the models also sported great hairdos that complemented the colourful, chic line aimed at the urban woman.
Westernwear and ethnic influences took turns on the runway and the overall vibe was flirty and fun, as is plainly seen from this twirling black dress edged with vivacious fuschia.
Next we see a pair of funky green palazzo pants, teamed with a floral blue jacket sporting applique work.
Candice Pinto oozes cutesy appeal in this girly, flouncing skirt and matching shirt.
Channeling starry glamour, Pia Trivedi sails out in a striking black and gold maxi.
A fitted bodice decorated with applique circles moves into red checkered pleats that swirl becomingly.
