This is Lakme Fashion Week's Winter/Festive edition, but fall fashion took a backseat in favour of resortwear at Pia Pauro's showing today.

Named 'Espiritu de Mexico', the collection's styling was "inspired from the Acapulco vibe of the 1970s" and showcased an array of bold and vibrant ensembles, like this poncho and shorts combo seen on Alesia Raut.

Next up we have Sucheta Sharma in a figure-hugging blue printed mini.

While the womenswear was bright and flirty, with plunging necklines and thigh-high slits, the menswear was just as attractive and on-trend.

Retro makes a comeback -- get a load of this high-waisted shorts and smock blouse combo.

Candice Pinto looks like a million dollars in this white textured tribal dress.

Crop tops are making a comeback and the designer capitalises on the trend with this bright yellow ensemble.

We see Alesia once more in a feminine pink get-up that's perfect for a day at the beach.

Purple seems to be Pauro's colour of choice, as we see another hot summer get-up for the guys, as well as swimwear and pants for women.

Candice is a beauty with a basket that matches her slinky shorts and a rambling rose in her hair.
