Designer Abhishek Dutta presented his latest line at the LFW today. Take a look.
Presumably, it was the bestselling book that was the inspiration behind Abhishek Dutta's latest offerings showcased at LFW.
The garments were defined by origami influences -- pleats and folds galore -- along with kaleidoscopic colour and structure. Performing showstopping honours were actors Shayan Munshi and Nisha Kothari.
Here's how it all went down.
Candice Pinto opened the show in this number, sporting laser cutwork on the bodice, voluminous folds and pockets.
These shorts sport inverted pleats and side pockets; they go well together with the yellow-grey tunic.
Sanea Shaikh wears origami-adorned pants with a bikini and tie-up tunic.
Citrus pants liven up this white, diagonal-buttoning shirt.
An empire-waisted bubble-hem number sports cutwork on the yoke, pleats and a print, as well as a mix of colours -- very busy!
This ensemble features a slit, drape-around top and relaxed crops.
For the men, this sleeveless tee and orange pants are the perfect summer cooler.
The designer offers up another pair of inverted pleat shorts in pinstripes along with an orange in-cut top.
Freddy Daruwala models an impeccably-cut suit in grey with orange slivers.
Shayan Munshi ended the menswear line in a sharply-cut one lapel grey jacket and yellow trousers with inverted pleats.
Nisha Kothari entered next, in a laser-cut halter and multi folded skirt.
