Pia's women's wear travelled across countries like Morocco, Mamluk Empire, the Arabian Peninsula and finally the Byzantine Empire.
Each of her designs revisited the glory of an era gone by -- of hand embroidery and similar techniques.
One set of Pia's creations also touched upon tribal designs, while others were bling, rocks, de Luxe and tunic influences.
Neon dominated most of her designs besides vibrant hues of indigo, orange, naturals, pink, electric blue that dazzled every one.
The designer carefully chose jerseys, chiffons, georgettes, cottons and silks and turned them into dresses, tunics, kaftans, saris, and evening wear -- all in tune with the season.
And then, there were swimsuits, beach bags and handmade accessories too.
Bright colours like orange lined by neon accessories and bell bottoms made the audience revel in the festive mood.
The bling bags also made quite an impression.Tara Sharma who ended the show wore a gold metallic sheath that looked tribal yet contemporary.
Pia Pauro's collection was high on nostalgia and the dynamism of colours with large doses of stylish contemporary touches would have only made any globe trotter feel proud.
