Designer Rimi Nayak's collection 'Insect in My Closet' on Day 4 of the Fashion Week saw some quirky insect prints in her designs.

Contrasting the colour of insects with the choice and colour of fabric, Nayak's line cleverly blended the two.

The designer used variants of green, pink, blue and embellished them with black and gold borders.

It was amazing to see the tentacles of ants transform into artistic motifs in a pattern that further elevated the wearer's presence on the ramp.

Whether it was maxis or drapes, the sobre collars and cuffs or cut-out shoulders made it seem contemporary and stylish.

The designer experimented with khadi, tussore, crepe, georgette and silk Lurex for the collection.

For those who choose to go off the beaten path, Rimi Nayak's 'Insect in My Closet' deserves a good chance to impress.

Then Neha Agarwal's collection is just apt for you.

With a quirky title like 'Wake Up Will Ya', the designer presented garments that were edgy, fun and casual.

While the designer played with silhouettes, she chose light weight fabrics like satin, silk, chiffon and fine mulmul which looked languorous as the models emerged on the ramp one after the other.

The colours switched from soft nudes to black and off white setting the pace as onion, candy pink, blue grey, splashes of orange took over.

The sequinned artwork and embellishments further enhanced the look of the wearer, be it loose pleated trousers, camisoles or the umbrella cut midi dresses.

Gentle brushstrokes and block prints complemented the choice of fabrics -- flowy and feminine.

Seen here is a model wearing a sari with a hip length curved hemline blouse and a knit/sheer drop waist maxi.
