Nupur Kanoi's collection was aptly titled 'Kundalini Project'.
The Indo-western line inspired by the Vedic Indian symbolism was in sync with the summer theme.

Kanoi used white and blue to weave a tale with her creations.
While blue embodied spirituality, according to the designer, white completed the look.
Other colours used were black and variants of grey.
The creations sought inspiration from rich crafts around the globe.
Embroidery and surface detailing dotted the designer line.
The geometric patterns had assymetrical cuts that added to the visual appeal making it seem contemporary enough.
There were miniature pockets and the double layered zipped vest with overlap mini pockets, all of which displayed smart workmanship.
The checkerboard organza tail waistcoat made a great fashion statement and the final maxi with tape epaulets on hem was a stunning end to a great show.
Nupur Kanoi's collection was unconventional and feminine.
The duo who debuted as GenNext designers last season presented an interesting collection through 'Metropolitan Jungle at the summer resort.
As the name suggests, the line was inspired by the speed and chaos of contemporary city life.
One could see blotting art and paper cut-out techniques skilfully adapt onto the clothes creating 3D visual effects.
The duo played with angular cuts on black and white on organza, net and chiffon fabrics.
The outfits were vibrant, unconventional and made quite an impression on the onlooker.
The third designer Ruchika Sachdeva kept up the tempo set by the first two designers and created a fashionable stir on the ramp with her 'Bodice' collection.
While the inspiration for Sachdeva's designs waddled between history to machines and from architecture to anatomy, it kept the audience glued to their seats for its surprise element.
At one point, you could see the beauty of the deep sea and marine life in the choice of colours, the next you see textures and silhouettes dominating the ramp.
The collection comprised playsuits, maxis, dresses, jackets and blouses.
Ruchika Sachdeva's collection was aimed at the bold inspiring woman in you who loves that attention she gets when she holds her head high and steps out of the house.
